BlurBow
Archer in a bone quarter-zip on open hills

About us

We loved archery. We just couldn't find anything decent to wear on the range.

BlurBow started between two ends at a small club outside Brno. We had been shooting together for years, and every season the same problem came back: the archery clothing on offer was either shapeless technical polyester or nothing at all. Meanwhile the clothes we actually loved — heavy piqué polos, brushed cotton sweaters, bone-coloured knits — were sold as vintage at prices nobody at the club could justify.

So we made our own. A dozen polos first, embroidered with a small archer drawing a bow, handed out to friends to test through a whole outdoor season. They held their shape after the draw, they didn't catch on the string, and — more to the point — people wore them off the range too: to cafés, to work, on the golf course, in the garage.

That's the whole idea of BlurBow: make vintage-cut clothing available again, at a price a club member can pay, cut so it works when you actually raise your arms. We keep the range small on purpose, we produce in short runs, and we'd rather sell four good pieces than forty forgettable ones.
